In an effort to help bridge the gap between labels and the experimental music community, VALE is proud to present the QUALITY CONTROL VA compilation. In collaboration with artists and leadership from the assemblyline collective, five winners were chosen from a voting-based competition based on originality, production and design skills.
AVUM starts the compilation off with 'VOYAGER', an immersive sci-fi garage piece with punishing basses that somehow remains irresistibly smooth.
FOURTH DIMENSION's bass manipulation and a twisting palette of neuro fragments form an evolving piece continuing a cinematic theme with the experimental track 'NEVIL'IM RISHONIM'.
DAZO L'OIZEAU turns the comp about-face with his hip-hop inspired tune 'OTEL', demonstrating an ability to expertly meld musical concepts and create something digestible and unique.
RAWT begins the descent into madness with TRACK GROUPING CORRUPT, a dystopian piece that harnesses an adventurous spectrum of noises and techniques to dive deep into the blackest night.
INVIZI closes the QUALITY CONTROL compilation with an emotional goodbye in 'MACHINE SPIRIT', an industrial garage composition that inspires as the final lights go out.
